Can a DVD movie be copied to the HD (which I've done) and played on
Media Center or Media Player?
I can't path it in, it just looks in E: ...??
.thanks jerry

I have got it to work say under PowerDVD *only* if the DVD is *not*
copy protected. If it is copy protected, I never got something like
PowerDVD to work from copying it to a hard drive. Then trying to
find the right file to click on was a bit tricky as well. And once
you find the right one and type, associate it with your DVD player.

With Power DVD, you dont have to find the right file. Just click on
the button that allows you to select the DVD drive. One of the
options is to play from a hard disk. You only have to point it to
the TS_VIDEO directory and it should play away (assuming the .VOB
files are not encrypted). It works for file structures in Video
Recorder format as well (-VR as well as +VR).

Thanks, I'll give that a shot!
