I am a little surprised you are trying to install Windows 2003 server and do not know how to create a partition, if this OS does not give you this option (which I would not know, not using this version).
Hello Gurus,
I bought brand new Lenovo t60 ThinkPad with XP Professional OS.160 GB
hard drive.
I would like to install Windows 2003 server with making partition for
100 GB.
But when i insert 2003 server it is not giving any option to do
portion(But in other systems do).
my bottom line question is how can i make a partion to install win2003
server.
Your reply highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Raj
Assuming you want to keep the XP installation, I think a good solution would be using System Commander which will allow to do what you want plus allow you to dual boot.
This is only one option, another is to use a partition utility. For such a need, Paragon free version, should suffice, otherwise, consider Disk Director.
