I gave my notebook to my daughter and now I'm looking for a new
notebook. If I would have known that it would have been this
difficult to find a notebook with Windows XP Media Center, I
would have kept mine and got my daughter a new laptop. I really
like HP. Does anyone know who is still selling HP laptops with
Windows XP Media Center? I really don't like Windows Vista.
TIA
Dell is still selling XP notebooks from their small business site.
Lenovo gives a choice.

As this seems to be an issue with MANY people and shops why not just
purchase WinXP or MCE from an Internet dealer (search for one) and then
purchase the laptop YOU LIKE best. Upon receipt simply install the XP/MCE
over it! I've done it already on several laptops. You will still have the
Vista license so if/when you want to consider a change, you can.
Good luck.
