Dell Inspiron E1505 & "stand by" problem

Hi: I can't get my E1505 to succesfully come out of a stand-by mode.
The hard drive thrashes for a bit but the video never comes on. I have
upgraded to the latest BIOS and video drivers from DELL website. I
have the power options all disabled.

Any ideas?
