Hi
Thanks for your reply and detailed description.
Actually I use the VGA cable to connect the notebook to the LCD tv, and
that is why I get only 1 monitor and not 2 monitor, so I do not have
the option to select the monitor 2 as you have written.
I can see from Advanced setting the Monitor and the Panel.
Is there any where I can unselect the 'Hide Modes that this monitor
cannot display' with this kind of connection? I mean with having only 1
monitor and not 2?
Another thing is that I can use resolution 1280 x 1024 on notebook, bu
then I can not see the whole page on the LCD screen, and I have to
sroll up or down and move the mouse left and right in order to see the
whole screen! Thats why I wish to use 1280 x 768.
The 'Hide modes ...' option will also appear on the advanced dialog for the
primary monitor. I don't understand you statement about not having a second
monitor option. This is a feature supported by the ATI Mobility Radeon 9000
graphics chipset and should be visible in the display properties box. If it
isn't then I would suggest that you might not have the correct video driver.
.
