Overheating problem

Hello
I have laptop with was working really good until the time when he
started to overheat. On the beggining I thought that the reason of that
is some problem with trasmision of the heat between main processor and
coller. To check this I opened the laptop, check this and found that
everything is ok. According to that I have no clue what could be the
reason of this problem.
Also I found one more quite intresting thing: My laptopm/main processor
is generating a lot of heat even on idle state (for example on the boot
screen - when asking for the password). This is completly strange for
me.
Overheating is so huge that if, for example I don't provide password on
the boot screen for something like 10 minutes the laptop shutdown. :(

any suggestion are really welcome !

thank you in advance
regards
G.
