Most likely the message is coming from the S.M.A.R.T. system in the hard
drive via the computer's BIOS (S.M.A.R.T. = Self Monitoring And
Reporting Technology).
The hard drive is going to fail imminently, and the drive's
microprocessor knows it. Heed it's advice, backup your data immediately
and buy a new hard drive.
