Yes, but the 1100 is ancient (1990's), the 1700 series is a relatively recent (2002) machine.

You can add the 1100 (or 1110, can't remember) to that list. Also on
all of those you have to remove the system board from the case to be
able to swap out the ODD which is attached to the bottom side of the
system board.
