Get real!! I have never had a rebate refused. I have bought many, many items that had a rebate. Good deals, sometimes lowering the price by 50%. ( I never had one of the "free after rebate" deals.)
So, if you don't like rebates, fine. But I like them and use them and have never been stiffed.
