can one add built in infrared to toshiba laptop?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S2112 which did not come with a built in
infra-red port. There is a port with a dummy cover that could handle
an infrared. Does anyone know of where to go to buy the equipment to
install a built in infrared port?

Yes, I could buy one of those USB attachments but I want to avoid that.
Just something else to keep up with.
