Re: Dell Inspiron 8000 video won't fit screen

The computer stopped displaying you could barely see an image like the
lcd was turned off.

I bought a replacement inverter and that is where I am at. The lcd
lamps are atleast now light up where before with the old inverter they
were not.

About 2 months ago the laptop required a jump start with the ac adapter
so to speak in order to use the battery only.

I feel I (we) am close to a solution but not quite there. I am using
the old cables they seem to be in decent shape.

I wonder if there is a video adapter problem.
