new panasonic cf-51 toughbook.........in afganistan

hello......i have a problem.......i have new laptop ...no problems
..then plugged into direct sat network phone line (miltary)...and it
shut down my comp...absolutly nothing i do will turn it on ...no
light ...tried batt...with ...without ...but before i dismantel this
new computer...i wanted to know if there is anything else i can do i
cannot ship this comp ..im here just till feb and i need it
now........i suspect it has gooton a surge from phone line and took
out power supply area of laptop...is this part replaceble...does
anyone know part number .....what dangers do i need to look out for
before pulling this thing apart........thank you for any advice in
advance.............
