If you go low end, be certain to verify that you're getting a *MOBILE*
processor. Many manufacturers have taken to using desktop processors
in cheap low end mobile machines. That not only consumes more power
(less battery life), but they generate much more heat, which will
affect the machine's longevity in the long term. Not to mention that
the all that heat in your lap has been reported to be bad for some
parts of one's anatomy.
