Sounds to me like hiberfil.sys is corrupted by your terminating the
write operation. Hopefully the entire drive is not corrupted. Find an
XP boot floppy or XP boot CD and see if you can access the C: drive. If
you can, run chkdsk c: /r (for repair). Then delete c:\hiberfil.sys.
This should allow a normal startup if nothing else is corrupt beyond
repair. You will need a boot file that can read NTFS so look for
specifically an XP boot medium.
