Thats not what the Ghost V9 book says OM.  Both versions disks
are in the same package and the book dwells more on V9 as being
the upgrade to handle winxp/and xp/pro with ntfs.

Well the book concentrated mostly on V9.  I saw very little info
about G2003.  And it said go with V9 for ntfs/wordxp/pro and I
did.   V9 worked like a champ with all the default settings
and I now have my image planted on the external Maxtor dr.
In fact at first I was puzzled, as the Maxtor was powered on
when I tried to boot the Thinkpad to winxp,  it seemed to start
then hesitate for longer than expected.   I glanced at the Maxtor
and its drive light was flashing on and off at regular intervals.
What was happening the boot to winxp was being done from the
image on the Maxtor  I could tell by the delay in booting up.
It was actually booting from the image.   So I powered off the
Maxtor and restarted boot up again and this time it was fast
an coming from windows itself not the image.  Voila!!!!

ahhh sweet mystery of life at last i found thee!  (thats an
old old song if anyone remembers it.)
