I can promise you, Barry, THERE IS NO POWER CONNECTION on this card!
Trust me on this. :-) Actually, there may have been an option for a
power connector - I can see in the plastic between the two USB ports a
slight round indentation where the connector would have been. Maybe
it is in there inside after all? Don't feel like trying to carve out
the plastic to find out. No, I don't think there is just something
wrong with my particular card - I bought another identical card for my
brother and it was exactly the same.
