No. My E6850 worked on it.

I wish mine was also a later revision. I called Newegg and they do
not do exchanges for a later version of this board. So I'm stuck
with having to update the BIOS. Never done that before. Would

You were warned. The G33/35 chipset boards would have at least given
you a floppy drive.

Are you talking about replacing the hardware chip? I don't even see
one on my board. In any case, if that's what you're talking about,
you may as well hang it up. If you're talking about just fleshing
the BIOS with a CPU installed on the mainboard, that's easy.

If you want technical help, you're going to have to be a lot more
explanatory.
