Intel board mutually-exclusive features

A few nice features available on integrated (vid/aud/lan onboard)
Intel motherboards:
Gigabit LAN
Digital audio out
Trusted Platform Module
Active Management Technology
BUT, unfortunately, Intel thinks that secure web interaction is
not need by home users so TPM isn't available on their Media
Series (home use target) boards. (sigh). Nor is Gb LAN available
on Media Series. (sigh). TPM and Gb LAN is only avalable on the
Executive Series boards. Both series have Matrix RAID and
Graphics Media Accelerator 950 video.
Having 1 board do all those things would be great because the boards
could be (re)deployed in either a home or business. A business upgrading
their PCs could sell/give the old stuff to their employees for home use
and their would be nothing lacking (digital audio out). Vice versa
redeployment would work well also. (An OS upgrade may be required).
Executive Series (RAID, 6 ch (no SPDIF),Gb LAN, TPM, AMT):
D945GTPLKR (mATX), D945GNTLKR (ATX), D945GCZLKR (mBTX).
Media Series (RAID, 8 ch/SPDIF, no Gb LAN, no TPM, no AMT):
D945GTPLR (mATX), D945GNTLR (ATX), D945GCZLR (mBTX).
Suggestion to Intel: Simply add digital audio out to Executive Series
(LKR} boards and drop the Media Series (LR) boards to create a board
for any environment. They would be really slick boards IMO and 3 less
part numbers to worry about.
