clippers? I use it during a clip session and then I wash the blades
and apply a little of it.....doesn't leave a greasy residue...

Hi Jim.....
I just retrieved my spray can of Cool Lube and read the ingredients
and the only thing they list is 1-1-1-Trichloroethane (the carrier, of
course) and probably the only reason they list it is because you
hadn't ought to sniff it too much.....
Anyway, I sprayed it on the back of a large steel spoon....and it
evaporates very quickly and leaves only the slightest lubricating
residue.....which feels like silicone to me. (and I have felt a lot of
silicone in my day....didn't they used to use it for breast
enlargement?)
I really think it would be worth a try (on something of low value
first).......
