Hi!

(TCP/IP)
......to which I reply, I use that on all my PS/2 WFW machines.....
I need it on my home network.

I was pretty sure that you did have this, but since it's an optional
component, I wanted to be sure before digging into other things. I
know I've forgotten it a few times. :-)

(Netscape 2.0)

When it boots, I get a gazillion Java Script errors and
have no idea how to deal with them.

Java Script Error: http://netscape.aol.comLine 744 dlpvs is not
defined.

The problem here is one of "ancient" software trying to deal with a
modern website. I ran into more than a few problems like this with
another early release of Netscape for Windows 3.1 (version 3.0 IIRC).
Javascript has changed a lot since the time of Netscape 2.0. One of
the most serious (that I never found a fix for) was a "divide-by-zero"
error that showed up on some web pages.

That leaves the problem of how to get into the program. For now I'd
disable your Internet connection(s) first and then start the program.
Change the home page or disable Javascript once you get in there.
(Disabling Javascript will be the more permanent fix--otherwise
another web site will be just around the corner waiting to throw the
system into a tizzy.)
