David, a couple of years ago, I was checking on some stuff, and my Fathers
last computer ( which I have, and had intended to save {still have it} ) was
ruined by a battery pack. I couldn't believe the devastation. It was stored
in just the only way that battery goo could run down the motherboard and PSU
and destroy everything.
So then I went and looked through my *very* extensive motherboard
collection, and found a lot of them ruined, and some about to be.
I went on a battery break off spree, and attempted to neutralize the ones
that I thought might still work. I'll fix 'em later if I want to.
Since we're on the subject, has anyone ever seen a button bat leak ? I
never checked those, never saw one do anything bad.
