8570vampire drinks your blood.......

Just as I was about to name this machine, I had my PS/2TV running on
my 8590 and was watching the History Channel about vampires........and
I just couldn't resist.......

Anyway, I have this machine running smoothly with MSDOS6.22/PCDOS7.0/
WFW. I am running both a modem and a NIC with a Cat5 connection to my
network router and then to my cable modem........and therein lies my
problem.

I just installed Internet Explorer 3.03 which is the best one you can
use with WFW.....and I have tried a lot of them. IE3.03 will
automatically install your modem and the mail setup works
flawlessly....at least with Eskimo.com as my dialup ISP.

I want to connect to the Internet using my NIC, but I don't want a
browser setup that keeps trying to use my modem instead of my
NIC.....I really want to find a browser that is Windows 3.1 compatible
and is LAN preferential.

Anybody want to throw in some hints here?
