much
more so than poor analog TV reception ever was.
Brief comment:
I have a couple of dig TV - PC monitor combo thingys. ( I personally use
neither. )
19" and 26" widescreen. Gazzilion inputs, etc, blah blah.
I_could_ not_ watch_ them. Cable picture is horrible, unless you are on a
dig HD channel.
I have a few cable connections here on this part of the planet, and I was
asking Brian about this. * I know * what the problem is, and he concurred.
People buy these things ( I got them for the monitor/TV combo convenience
for my wife and daughter ) and then pitch a fit calling Warner because they
look like s**t.
At the store, they look FABULOUS, and it doesn't occur to people that it is
the fault of what they are PUTTING IN that causes the output to look
horrible.
( Yes, I had my "connections" install a new drop, and I have a state of the
art cable ( KlaXXoN ready ) system in my hovel. Warner installed fiber optic
quite a while back. I'm also running an amp to my way too many cable
connections. )
( If I put a 1080P or 720P signal to them they are fab. Computer input
( with a killer vid card ) looks fine also.)
*I* will continue to use my CRT's. 8=}
Did I say brief comment...... ¿
