Woe, bad 9595-OPT is sick

All,
I thought I would try an 9595-OPT I recently acquired. 128MB of RAM,
standard complex (P60), Spock, but with an ugly ATI GUP card (you
know, the funky green one).
At first boot (for me that is), it complained of system memory
configuration errors and launched into system programs. It wanted me
to run "Automatic Configuration" and "Test the Computer" so I did.
It started by telling me that the SIMM is bad in B4. So, I shutdown,
remove A4/B4. Reboot.
Memory configuration errors detected, ran automatic configuration and
test the computer. Said B3 was bad. So, I shutdown, remove A3/B3.
Reboot.
Memory configuration errors detected, ran automatic configuration and
test the computer. Said B2 was bad. So, I shutdown, remove A2/B2.
Reboot. (see a bad trend developing here...)
Now, with just A1/B1 populated with 8MB ECC SIMMS, it gets so far as
CP 08 and displays 0002 022S on the display.
Any suggestions aside from running over the ATI GUP adapter with my
car and replacing it with a XGA-2 adapter? Any help in decoding 0002
022S?
