I might have to bundle up my AIX 1.2.1 documents and take them to Farmer City. Probably cheaper than UPS. Get some space back in my room.

Ahh, the trip I missed? A week before my contract came to a close I received a call from a senior staffing person. The short version was that if I reenlisted I would either be immediately voluntarily or involuntarily deployed.

Guess what choice I made...

If they hadn't taken a year and a half to legally admit my wife and stepchildren to the U.S. I might have even tried to entertain the idea...
