Hmmm, it's not so easy as evilnet (it seems more expensive, also)...
You just hit the reason why Token Ring failed. No, not that it isn't
easy. Each TR adapter needed a more involved controller, something that
cheap-to-produce Ethernet didn't (although it is interesting that "Gigabit"
Ethernet adapters will commonly handle more portions of the TCP/IP stack to
offload the burden from the host system for better performance now).
