You can write to wct <atsign> walshcomptech <dot> com. I'll send you a
message, though. I have your address on file, no need to give the
spambots a crack at it.

Actually, you have answered "most" of my questions and comments that I was going to discuss with you "off the air". ( not on topic, so I wasn't going to risk ostracizing myself further.... )

But I do find it very interesting that this strange "motherboard" supports a Pentium III-S CPU. That is somewhat "rare" that a mobile OR Server P-3 S Tualatin CPU is supported in anything other than a notebook or Server motherboard. (However, I do have a Gigabyte GA-60XET that does support Tualatin CPU's with the 512K L2 cache. It is *possible* to find an aftermarket board with this support, but you can't get a desktop board from Intel that will support the 512K L2 Tualatin ! )

I think that the ASUS P2B series would run these chips using an adapter to allow the FCPGA (?) CPUs to plug into the slot on the motherboards. Unfortunately these discussions were years ago and I don't remember all of the details, but I remember at least one person running 1.1+ GHz CPUs on these motherboards.

I assume the BIOS shows the 512K L2 ?

That *should* be a pretty peppy machine.

( I notice that you did in fact "try out" the loaded OS. I remember someone suggesting that. :-)
