Okay, so the printer has a valid IP address. But it doesn't match the
addressing scheme that is used on your network.
If you haven't already, change a computer over to an address in the
10.54.32.xxx range. Set the netmask and gateway to match those on the
printer. Clear out any other settings for DNS, etc. because they don't
matter and you don't care. (That's right. You don't care.)
You should then be able to change the settings on your printer to match your
current addressing scheme. Now just change the computer back to the settings
it was using, reboot the printer (if need be) and try again. It should work.
