Hello All,
Before upgrading my 7541 (Industrial, with a 50Z planar inside) with
the IBM-branded Hypertec 286-to-486SLC2 I was wondering a good CPU benchmark
to show the performance difference. Among the Kingston "386Now!" files is a
"SPEED200.EXE" that will at least show comparable results to the Kingston
upgrade. Although it would take longer (an opening in my schedule maybe a
couple weeks from now), I do have a handful of CPU upgrades I could go
through (and I have to outline the Hypertec board too).

I have Landmark Speed210. Is that a newer, but still old, version of
Kingston Speed200?
A problem with CPU speed utilities is that their use is usually limited
to a narrow class of CPUs - 386, 486, Pentium, Pentium 2, etc. A few
days, I tried one on a Model 80 and it barfed, essentially saying it
would only measure Pentium 4s. Some require an Intel CPU, a Celeron
won't do.
Here's my list, FWIW:
Intel CPUID,
CPU-Z,
Snooper
PC Doctor, PC Doctor Advanced,
Intel utilities,
MIPS
WinAudit
QAPlus
Syschk
Seatool/Seagate Disk Diagnostic
