Hi Dan,
I have Landmark Speed210. Is that a newer, but stillDunno, but there is a Kingston utility of that version too, and newer
old, version of Kingston Speed200?
(for the 486 Turbochips)...
A problem with CPU speed utilities is that their use isA Celeron is an Intel budget CPU at a few different levels that reduces
usually limited to a narrow class of CPUs - 386, 486,
Pentium, Pentium 2, etc. A few days, I tried one on a
Model 80 and it barfed, essentially saying it would
only measure Pentium 4s. Some require an Intel CPU,
a Celeron won't do.
or omits the L2 cache, usually at the lowest Front Side Bus (FSB) of a CPU
(Pentium II, Pentium III, or Pentium 4) that can replace it. I am looking
for something measuring from the 286-10 (Mode 25 286, Model 30 286, Model
50/50Z, Model 60) to about the 486SX2-66 (which the 486SLC2-50 with 16Kb
internal cache & some external cache on the Hypertec card should get close
to) level. Something that has been used to measure these PS/2 levels by
others.
Here's my list, FWIW:Just the CPU, out to the L2 cache. Since I will keep all the rest of
Intel CPUID,
CPU-Z,
Snooper
PC Doctor, PC Doctor Advanced,
Intel utilities,
MIPS
WinAudit
QAPlus
Syschk
Seatool/Seagate Disk Diagnostic
the subsystem the same, it will limit outside effects down somewhat. And
nothing in Windows (unless I would commandline limit it, the base system
with 2Mb RAM would run 386 Enhanced mode with the 486SLC2).
