Is IBMIDECDSYS that different from IBMCDROM.SYS?

Hi Dan.........

I might be wrong but isn't one for an IDE CDROM and the other for a
SCSI CDROM?

CT

Yes. That's why I used IBMIDECD.SYS and not IBMCDROM.SYS. However,
both SCSI and IDE setups use MSCDEX.EXE in the Autoexec.Bat file.

It still seems odd that the IDE driver must be configured entirely
differently than the SCSI driver. Even the PC-DOS 7.0 help file for
Mscdex.exe goes with using two DEVICE statements for two drives.
