Hi Dan.......
This seems odd. Why the deviation from the general rule? My
investigation didn't turn up anything that says one drive name will
work for two drives.
Here is a configuration sample from the man hisself.....I think it
might work with a little manipulation....
Sample CD-ROM DOS Configuration (two Drives)
DOS - AUTOEXEC.BAT file
drive:\path\MSCDEX /D:IBMCD001 /D:IBMCD002 /M:10
DOS - CONFIG.SYS file
Device=drive:\path\IBMCDROM.SYS /D:IBMCD001 /i
Device=drive:\path\IBMCDROM.SYS /D:IBMCD002 /i
I would try that first......but then again, I flounder a LOT......

Hi, Tim:
As I said, that (substituting IBMIDECDSYS for IBMCDROM.SYS) didn't
work. The first device statement came up with two drives and the
second device statement came up empty. The MSCDEX.EXE statement
handled the first name fine but balked at the second.
Is IBMIDECDSYS that different from IBMCDROM.SYS?
