Hi !
Just an aside and positively Off Topic.
Recently I dug out my former company-laptop. IBM TP770. Comes with 128MB RAM and a 4GB HD + CD-ROM drive. I ran it under Linux for a while, but wanted to "try something different". Installed Win98SE + matching driver on it. Had some trouble to get everything to configure with no "?" or "X". For 98SE you positively need the replacement / add-on drivers and you also need the PS2.EXE (either the DOS or Win-Version) to get the COM-port and TP Infrared Port properly aligned.
Then I stuffed in a Netgear WG511 v.1 CardBus Wireless 54Mbit card. Fine. Connects to the Netgear WGR614 v4 I use for quite a while already and "sees" the MP3 Server / Ethernet-TokenRing gateway. Can play MP3s from off the MP3 server using WinAmp. Nothing unusual so far.
Today a package from Hongkong arrived.
Inside is 50g "heavy" and 5 x 3 x 2 cm "large" 205 channel FM Transmitter. That one now runs with 2 AAA cells or from off a USB cable (supply only, no data) and connects to the TP770 headphone jack. Adjusted to 107.90 MHz ... and the MP3 from the TP770 can be heared in Stereo on all radios on that frequency across the house with quite good quality.
The Marantz 2228B in my office even does almost noise-free stereo with not even an antenna attached.
I payed less than 15 Euro for that thing - including S&H. A similar unit sells in Germany in "Media Markets" for around 35 Euro.
