Re: What won't work next?

Hi!

Would a short SCSI work? 80C32?

I have short and long ones both. I seem to recall that the short
uncached SCSI couldn't keep up in a Server 95 planar. Perhaps it will
react differently in the slower 85/9590 planar.

Let me find my cables.

All AMD N80C188 or -186 based.

Or Intel...my BusTek 640 has a genuine Intel 80188 onboard. I've never
seen anything but an Intel 80188 on the IBM "Spock" family of adapters.
(Likewise I've never seen other than an AMD 80186-20 on the
"Corvette".)

The NCR adapters and the Adaptec 1640 seem to be the only ones that
don't use an Intel processor for busmastering purposes.
