I done that few years back on my redheat router "486/dx2-
66/8mb ram "using a wise terminal back then.
from memory, you will need to run telenetd and
agetty,have said that technology change so often now days
:-), the basic still the same though.

frankly, I wouldn't bother with RedHat, Debian is the way
to go IMHO, well at least for me.
