I have just recently come into possession of shiny ps2 box that id like to
get up and running. The problem is that i dont have the reference disks for
it and cant get it up and running. I really want this little guy working so
i can turn it into a linux server (problem for later i guess).
The hard disk configuration has changed from the original setup for this
machine and i get errors whenever i try to boot.
I am very keen to get this little guy up and running and join in the fun
that can be had. So any help that you guys here could provide would be
greatly appreciated.
I have tried reference disks listed on various sites that i was able to find
through this newsgroup, however none of them seem to work.
A few details about my box:
fcc id off box - ANO9595A
fcc id from factor - ANOIBM486C33
(on the same board is this ref FRU #61G2343 )
I would appreciate any help that could be provided. If u need any other info
on the hardware please let me know and i will supply.
cheers in advance
dan
