rpgsrockdvds@xxxxxxxxxxxxx says...
I mainly play older games, ones that don't require widescreen. Has
any manufacturer released a quality 19" non-widescreen fairly
recently, with fast gaming response times? I've heard good things
about NEC and Viewsonic monitors, but their 19" non-widescreen
versions have been discontinued. (Or maybe now is a good time to pick
up a bargain?)
Thanks, regards, Robert.
I've had the HP 1955 until a few days ago (swmbo has it now) and it's a very
nice monitor. The successor model HP1965 is still on the market.
I don't play fps type games, but a lot of online rpg and I watch movies on it,
and I have not had any complaints about response times. The 1955 was/is rated
at 16 ms or thereabouts if I remember that right - the 1965 is bound to be
faster since it's not a lcd-stoneage model as mine was.
