This is an LCD monitor, so there isn't degassing like a CRT monitor.
The problem isn't the monitor, it's the computer. I have the monitor
also hooked up to a new computer via a switch and there is no moire
seen when using the new computer. Also, this problem was going on with
the first computer prior to sharing the monitor.

If you have the monitor on a switch....it may be the switch causing the problem.
Remove the switch and connect it to the "problem" computer directly to see if
there is a difference.
