Dell 1905FP contrast setting?



I just bought a Dell 1905FP 19" LCD monitor. When I push the
hardware button for settings, there is a line for contrast, but
it's greyed out, and I can't figure out how to set the contrast
setting other than the factory default.


Also, this is my first non-CRT monitor, so tips for setting it
for maximal readability would be much appreciated!
