Hi all,

Does Windows 2000 support IDE ATA disk capacities of 256 GB ?

Without SP2 it will happily use it but likely trash your data at some point.

If so, how to get that support ?

SP2.

No, SP4! it's Win2K!!

Ooops, correct,

I expect.

As in " I have no clue and still haven't ", babble head.

Did not see that.

Of course not, when you don't have a clue and just pretend.

Thanks for the correction.

And what makes you think that that is correct, babblehead?

My motherboard is an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
and I'm using its onboard IDE sockets.

There should be no problem with that hardware.
