Re: Hot swapping SCSI drive in IBM 336 server
Is it possible to hot swap one of the raid drives to a larger capacity,
let it rebuild then swap another until I have increased my total
overall disk capacity? If not, how would I increase storage capacity on
this server? Anyone any ideas. Thanks in advance.
You did not say how your storage is configured (any spare bays, SCSI ports,
RAID version).
But in general that is not possible that way. Backup, upgrade, restore. Or
add external storage.
