Re: Should I put a BOOT DISK on a Floppy or CD... ?

Thanks... I am trying guys... believe me. OK.. It has been suggested
that the reason my PC won't "see" any of my drives is because Windows
doesn't get far enough into the boot-up process to allow for that.
I will be making a boot-disk within the next day or two. Everything I
have been doing, including this posting is all done from the local
library... and in order to download anything I have to get on a waiting
list that sometimes lasts for hours....
Now... if I create the boot disk, what do I do with it? If my PC
won't "see" my floppy drive now when I give it a command prompt how
will it see the boot disk?
Do I somehow activate the boot disk from a command prompt?
I am not very good with computers, as I'm sure you guys can tell.
Please try and be patient with me... lol
Thanks so much
LEESA
