The modem will very likely work as long as you have an analog
modem and telephone line. Much of Europe is ISDN and there you
need an Euro-ISDN modem. However often you can connect an analog
modem to an ISDN NT, if it has an A/B adapter (analog->ISDN adapter).
You might get limited speed though.
