Trying to play Civ4 on the train just doesn't seem like a viable option to
me. Besides the hassle of lugging 10lbs of laptop around, and having to
recharge the battery after each train ride, I just want something
relatively quick and simple to play. I'll save the big complicated games
for home where I have more time to just sit and think without the constant
clatter of the wheels, and folks chattering on their cellphones.

Is CivRev the same as Civ4? No, it's not - and that's not a bad thing!

If anything, CivRev achieves several important (FOR THIS GROUP) goals:
It introduces whole new markets to the wonder of Civ and of turn-based
strategy games in general. This alone will lead to more people taking an
interest in Civ4 or turn-based strat games in general for the PC - and
let's face it, it's not exactly like the strategy genre has been pumping
out dozenss of titles each year, unlike say, FPS... Weren't folks just
complaining about the dearth of non-action/FPS titles for the PC? This is
potentially a long term solution for that problem! Stop being so
ridiculously negative and condescending.
