It's naive and wishful, but is it completely impossible for
Bioware or some other company to re-release X-Com as it was,
with the only upgrades being resolution and audio
quality ? How easy would it be to make it 3-D, or even
moderate res. 2-D ?
I'd like to have some interface improvements too, like "how many
MPs will it take to get to this spot", "move just far enough that I can
still get a shot off", or "move these four soldiers together".
But I've been playing it lately on DOSBox, and it's still better
than anything else that's ever come out in the genre.
