But it also defines that good as a SOFTWARE UNIT, not the software.
And the very definition of that software unit was based on the LICENSE.

I merely analysed what that software unit consisted of, and concluded
that it was essentially a modified version of the original license
(modified to be transferrable). If the software unit is a license,
sure it can be a good, but it's also a license.

Nobody seems to be willing to argue this point, or define what a
'software unit' really is. Because that would hurt their agenda of
pretending that more rights relating to the software were sold than
were actually sold. All my arguments are based on the words posted.

Doctorow, on the other hand, purposefully misrepresents facts:

<QUOTE>
"Dmitry Sklyarov is a Russian
programmer who gave a talk at a hacker con in Vegas on the
failings in Adobe's e-book locks. The FBI threw him in the slam
for 30 days. He copped a plea, went home to Russia, and the
Russian equivalent of the State Department issued a blanket
warning to its researchers to stay away from American
conferences, since we'd apparently turned into the kind of
country where certain equations are illegal."
<END QUOTE>

Perhaps the sort of childish individuals who admire this sort of
garbage would argue that he has not actually stated that Sklyarov was
jailed for speaking at a conference, or that certain equations are
illegal. He has implied it clearly enough, though.
