Very probably. If I'm going to spend money for a game, I don't even want
to have to keep the CD in my drive. The more onerous the method of
copy-prevention, the more incentive the potential customer has to pirate
the game; if it's easier to play the game by pirating it than by buying
it, you're likely to have more people pirating it.
