Check that out and see if the changes do it for you. They did for me.
I can't go NEAR the game, with the delusions of only spending one hour
on it. Do tweak the graphic detail settings if you have a lower end
rig.
I am glad the game doesn't DEMAND that I start one up every day, but it
does consume time if I do start it up.
And the mods that should come out for it should give it a LOT of life.
My hope is they get a MOM lite mod done for it. I think even a version
of SMAC could be done with the base game and tools they have.
