I seem to recall, but I'm not positive, that if you buy anything by D2D, you are limited on the number of times you can install. So if you periodically reformat your HD and/or have a HD failure, you're BONED.
It seems to me that I saw a limit of 3-5 times a game can be installed before it locks you out.
Someone else here might have more current info.
