Fair nuff, I just don't think fps view in most mmos provides anywhere
near the immersion of a real-world view/perspective i.e. the depth &
field of view are severely lacking; with most of them you can't even see
your own body; the movement/physics are certainly not realistic in most
cases, etc. To each their own ;).

just being able to see the other people to their eyes is about as much
as I need to feel immersed. The reduced FOV is not a problem at all.
Some time ago I did an experiment, I walked around with my hands to
the sides of my eyes reducing my FOV, and I still firmly believed I
was myself :)

No probs, so long as we both know you really _aren't_ that mighty wizard,
smiting monsters left & right with his big +10 rod of mightiness! ;-p
